Coming from Sacramento, Dusty Brown, a talented producer and musician who, along
with his eponymous band, creates a sort of beat-centric clash between raw ambient-electronic
and synth-driven indie rock. Photography by Raoul Ortega and artwork done by Iso50.
Both also great bloggers, check out these pages with a huge collection of fine posts.

“Born and raised in Yaoundé, Cameroon, Ndomo’s life has been scarred by exploitation and mistreatment at the hands of those who would ride on the coat-tails of his talent.  Trafficked to France as a teenager with promises to him and his family of riches beyond their imaginations, he was promptly abandoned in the streets of Paris.”

“During their graduation year, graphic designers Kees Bakker and Barbara Hennequin started a book project under the name ‘Plan B’. For this book they interviewed all the teachers of the Graphic Design department, 28 in total, who have taught them in the four years they spent at the Royal Academy of Arts. They asked them to talk and expose their vision on graphic design of today, their own work, their successes and their setbacks, the influence of teaching on their own work, favorite students, other interests, ideals, etc. This resulted in a book designed and financed by Hennequin and Bakker.”

The book can now be purchased for the price of 22 euros (excl. shipping costs).

Old film movie posters in disused area at Notting Hill Gate tube station, 2010

“Discovered in Notting Hill Gate tube station, 2010 – wholly inaccessible so please don’t ask the staff! Work at the station has recently uncovered these amazing advertising posters in non-public areas and that date from c1956 – 1959 when the station’s lifts were removed and replaced by escalators. These are in an old lift passageway.”

“Inspired by the new 3D technology integrating cinema and tv screens I have hand drawn paper which makes simple line drawings look 3D.

To use:- Drag the hand drawn paper into photoshop and using a black paint brush at 11 draw your very own 3D image.

To view 3D effect please put on a pair of Red/Blue Paper 3D glasses.”
