For one night SETUP will take over the Utrecht Center for Fine Arts and turn the walls of the space into a hit ‘n run open exhibition
The concept is as simple as it is effective. 1 night, 1 empty space, and a lot of beamers transform the white walls of the art space into a dynamic new kind of exposition. No months of preparations and no static pieces that stay in the same place for three months. Just one night of awesome work, some tunes and drinks.

False Focus at Nest
Exhibition, April 17 – May 29
False Focus is based on the idea that our senses and the way they are translated by the brain into an image of reality does not provide us with a reliable idea of reality. For the artists of False Focus the senses and its translations are reason to provide us with alternative realities, manifested in videos, photos, paintings and installations.
“Danish–born artist Nina Beier’s interventions result in anything from sculpture to performance. Her works renegotiate general constructions as they appear in the social landscape as well as the conventions surrounding the artwork itself and the underlying awkwardness of these interactions is a recurring feature in Beier’s production.”
