“For one week designers will work together in a self made graphic laboratory to explore and showcase the boundaries of old graphic techniques. The exhibition features both the results of there experiments as well as the designers working in their laboratory.”

“Reading Forms is a blog-shaped depository of hyperlinks and images of graphic design exhibitions, and of other situations that are visually, thematically or conceptually related. It tries to examine modes and forms of presentation, observation, curation and interaction in the re-contextualized display of graphic design.”

“Bendita Gloria is a graphic design studio run by Alba Rosell and Santi Fuster based in Barcelona. They are especially interested in printed matter and defend a conceptual approach to face design projects.”

“The work of Marleen Sleeuwits characterizes itself by schizophrenic scenes that radiate both magical beauty and suffocation. The urban environment, the surroundings and areas that she portraits seem unspoken of, areas that do not attract any attention because of their lack of function and unreachableness through its closed character.
By giving these spaces a function, Sleeuwits confronts her audience with their common beauty but also puts an emphasis on the carefully formulated design concepts that are created for these areas. In doing so with persuasiveness she confronts us with our selectivity and our incapability to open our eyes for the ordinary. Through her aesthetic use of light and color she also points out the oppressive notion that behind everything shelters a thought.”
